apple of the eye

some people just have the correct combination of everything for people's eyes to turn on them. the right facial features, right body type, right clothes, the right stride. yes, stride is an all important factor. it tells you if that person is confident or timid or what.

why those thoughts? i encountered one sure headturner on my way to sm yesterday. i should've brought the one i've written last night. when the sm north-bound jeep i was riding on yesterday got past veterans, i spied a goodlookin' guy. white shirt, black pants, black shoes (i think they were leather), black shades and black sling bag. his polo shirt was slung on his shoulder. he probably just came from school. he was walking on the sidewalk and i kept my gaze in his direction but not directly at him. he was just a perfect image right there walking. and the stride was everything. he's just the kind of guy i'd want. i noticed he was looking in my direction when the jeep stopped at the red light. he was probably eyeing the traffic light or the jeep because later on, he made to cross the street right behind the jeep and so to avoid looking at him, i turned my head so that i wouldn't see him. and wonder of wonders, he hoisted himself onto the rear of the jeep for a short ride to sm. course he was the first one to get off and headed for the nearest entrance. there were people swarming there so he made a far right turn, near the curb while i cut through near the corner. i believed he was looking in my direction. anyway, that was the closest encounter i could ever have with him. for one second i wanted to follow him but decided against it. i even thought i could find him within sm later on but no luck. oh well, till the next guy comes along.
